I am a relentless planner. I am running through my day in my mind in morning showers, and scribbling down to-do lists while distracted in lectures. I thrive on the construct of the future. I used to worry so much about the future, but now the future is hope. It’s sunshine. It’s warm weather. It’s new problems and new heartaches and new designs. I embrace the future for all of its complexity and despair and greatness, and I plan for it with the tenacity and resilience that I own with all my heart. I live for the future, for the unknown, for hope.

Design Anthology at Avril 50

Here is a book I was really fixated on at Avril 50! I have a pipe dream of becoming an interior designer, and I think interior design pushes the boundary of design when it comes to beauty, aesthetics, but also functionality (or the lack there is?). It challenges our preconception of utility and space, and something I am learning more about!

Phase 2 Design Todos

Environmental:

1). Come up with 2-3 color palettes

2). More iconography to extend to both sides of the wall

3). A more simplified floor design, whether with just the circle, a circle with textile graphics incorporated, or textile on the floor.

4). Text on the glass

 

Digital

1). Finalize a couple version of the “NYTimes” with maybe above color palette

2). Make a “NYTimes” version with the icons

3). A series of 3 break apart (e.g. Egyptian archaeological) animation

4). DO’s and DON’Ts for Instagram phototaking

 

Print

1). Create .psd template for Off the Shelf

2). Create .psd template for generalized event

3). Optional: Brochures and other marketing materials
