Claire Capacities Response

I am a procrastinating perfectionist. The fear of frustration over not meeting my standards leads to procrastination because I am always finding ways to avoid the fear. Ironically, procrastination just exacerbates the stress since I would have less time to “perfect” my work.

However, over the years I figured a moderate amount of procrastination helps me get over my perfectionist mentality. The time pressure eases my obsession with making everything as meticulously as possible. It leads to more creative and efficient way of working. Visit to Avril 50

When I walked into Avril 50, the first thing that captured my attention on the art catalogue section was the newest issue of X-Tra. The blocky color combo popped among many of the other magazines. The magazine itself is mostly about reviews of recent artwork and artist projects made for X-Tra. Though not necessarily related to design, the articles go in depth into the process and concepts behind the art works that I thought are relevant in design as well.

Case in point, Kruger’s work inspired the Supreme logo despite different meanings embedded in the work and the brand respectively.
